When: Wednesday 14th March, 2pm
Where: Holborn tube station
Join us on a walk through the streets of London to learn about anatomical discoveries in the 18th Century! This was a time when, with the likes of physicians William and John Hunter leading the way, London was a hub for exciting advancements in the field.
UCL Anatomy Society are excited to present “Sensational Bodies: London’s Golden Age Of Anatomy” – a guided walk led by Dr Richard Barnett – a doctor, historian, author and broadcaster (https://richardbarnettwriter.com/).
Dr Barnett studied medicine before becoming a historian and studying a PhD in the history of medicine at UCL. His books offer fascinating insight into the history of dentistry, medicine and surgery. This guided walk is based on his international best-seller, Medical London, and offers a unique perspective of London’s history.
Come rain or shine, hope to see you there!
